Hina Khan will be no longer donning the role of Komolika in Ekta Kpaoor’s show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 due to her professional commitment for films. The actress confirmed the news to SpotboyE saying, “It’s true that I will not be seen on the show post-March. But the only reason is my prior commitment to films.”
However whether the break from the show is permanent or temporary, is something which is still not confirmed. Hina in a recent live chat on her social media stated that she will be heading to Cannes this year with her new film Lines. She also hinted that she has some international projects in the pipeline due to which she is unable to give time for television.
Hina has already shot for her Bollywood debut film which also stars veteran actor Farida Jalal. The actress made her TV debut with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in which she worked for 8 long years. After quitting the show Hina participated in reality shows like Khatron K Khiladi 8 and Bigg Boss 11. The actress was heavily bashed when she was inside the house for her comments and fights with the co contestants. The criticism was so harsh that some even stated that how her career is over after her stint in Bigg Boss 11. However the actress took all the negative comments in her stride, worked hard and the result is something which we all are aware of.
