News is that the shooting of the much-awaited Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone-starrer film ‘Happy New Year’, which is scheduled for a Diwali release this year, has been wrapped up. The film is said to be an action-comedy drama and is directed by SRK’s good friend Farah Khan. This is the third time Farah is collaborating with the superstar after films like ‘Main Hoon Na’ in 2004 and ‘Om Shanti Om’ in 2007.
Sharing the news, Farah tweeted a picture of herself with the cast of the film with the caption, “And finally it’s a picture wrap!!! Lov my boys!!”
Apart from SRK and Deepika, the film also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Naseeruddin Shah’s son Vivaan. Produced by Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment, ‘Happy New Year’ is set to release on October 24 this year.
