Family Man 3 actor Rohit Basfore was found dead near a waterfall in Assam’s Garbhanga forest on Sunday evening (April 27). Manoj Bajpayee took to X to mourn his co-actor's demise. He wrote, "May God bless your soul with peace Rohit Basfore!! Gone too soon! Our condolences to the family!! On Shanti !!!"

Rohit Basfore Death
According to a report in Odisha Bytes, officials said that the actor, who was in Mumbai, had returned to Guwahati a few months ago. Rohit's family members stated that on Sunday, he left home around 12:30 pm and went for a day trip with his friends. It was later in the evening when they lost contact with him. The cops have confirmed that there were multiple injury marks on his body.
One of the friends of Rohit informed the family about the incident. Later, relatives contacted the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and the actor's body was retrieved and transported to a hospital.
Reportedly, Rohit's family has alleged that he was murdered by his four friends. They claimed it was planned. The family revealed that recently, the actor was involved in a parking dispute, and death threats were given to him.
According to Odisha Bytes, a police official said, “An autopsy was performed at Guwahati Medical College Hospital on Monday. Multiple injuries were discovered on the body, including wounds on his head, face, and other parts. We are investigating the case, but the four accused are on the run."
