After more than a year, Salman Khan will be seen on the big screens as a lead in AR Murugadoss' Sikandar. The film is slated to release on Eid this year, and last year, on Salman's birthday, the makers had unveiled a teaser of Sikandar which had received a good response. The fans of the superstar have been waiting for new asset of the film to be released, and today, on producer Sajid Nadiadwala's birthday, the makers have unveiled a new poster.
Salman took to X to share the new poster. It's an intense poster with a still from an action sequence. But, it is getting a mixed response from netizens.
A netizen replied on Salman's post and wrote, "Poster mein mazaa nahi aaya." One more netizen didn't like the poster, "Kucch toh effort daal leta. Ya kisi fanpage ko hi bol dete. 100 times better hota tab." However, there were many positive responses as well. A fan wrote, "The Biggest film of the Year." Salman's last release as a lead was Tiger 3 which had failed to make a strong mark at the box office. However, the superstar's fans have a lot of expectations from Sikandar as it is directed by Murgadoss who has helmed many super hit South films as well Hindi films. The filmmaker gave Bollywood its first 100 crore film with Aamir Khan starrer Ghajini and even Holiday starring Akshay Kumar was a hit at the box office.
Sikandar also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role. The actress has been starring in back-to-back hit films like Pushpa 2 and recently released Chhaava. So, even her fans are excited to watch her on the big screens with Salman Khan. Rashmika in an interview had revealed that for the first time in a Hindi film she will be seen in a typical heroine role.
Well, after teaser and poster, now we are sure fans of Salman are eagerly waiting for the trailer of Sikandar.
