South Korean actor Park Sung Hoon, who was recently seen in the globally acclaimed K-drama, Squid Games, opened up on the end of his character in the final season of the show. He revealed that he shot his death scenes for both Squid Games Season 3 and another K-drama, Queen Of Tears, on the same day.

During a panel discussion with Squid Game Season 3 cast members Im Siwan, Kang Ae Sim, and Jo Yu Ri, Sung Hoon bared his heart out while speaking about the fate that his character met in the show. For those unversed, Sung Hoon played the role of the much-loved transgender competitor, Hyun Ju, in the show.

As he watched the tragic end of his character on screen again, Sung Hoon recalled, "The director asked if I could drop a single tear before collapsing, and we got it in the first take."

He then revealed that on the same day, he first shot Hyun Ju's death scene in Daejeon studio, post which he rushed to Jeongseon, Gangwon-do, to shoot his death scene in Queen Of Tears.

Queen Of Tears starred Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji-won in the leads, while Sung Hoon played the antagonist, Yoon Eun-seong.

"It happened to fall on the same day. The emotional exhaustion from both scenes was overwhelming," Sung Hoon admitted.

Meanwhile, Sung Hoon's character has emerged to be one of the most loved characters on Squid Game 3, the final season of which released last week. The show's release shattered all records on Netflix as it clocked 60.1 million views in just three days.

The third season also starred Lee Byung-hun, Lee Jung-jae, and others in lead roles.
