Dipika Kakar made her much-awaited television comeback with her stint on the cooking-based show Celebrity MasterChef after a four-year hiatus. However, her journey was cut short as she was forced to leave the show due to her worsening shoulder injury. In the latest episode of Holi, the actress revealed that she will no longer be a part of Celebrity MasterChef India, leaving the contestants and judges in shock.
The episode began with Farah Khan noticing Dipika wearing an arm sling instead of her Holi outfit and asking her the reason. Explaining her condition, the Sasural Simar Ka actress said, "Back to square one. Abhi toh thoda zyada bura hua hai." She revealed that the stiffness in her left shoulder was worsening, causing increasing discomfort in her back as well.
Concerned, Ranveer Brar asked, "Toh, khana kaise pakayengi aap?" With tears in her eyes and a heavy heart, Dipika replied an emotional tone, "Nahi pakka paungi."

Later, Dipika joined judge Farah and opened up about her struggle, sharing how, when the injury first happened two weeks ago, the doctor had advised her to rest. However, she pushed through. When the injury flared up again, she rested for four-days but returned to the show, hoping to manage. However, once back in action, she found it impossible to constantly remind herself not to use her left shoulder.
She added, "Kal toh doctor se bohot dant pad gayi and he said, 'This can't be happening now.'" Further expressing her gratitude, Dipika said with a heartfelt smile, "Thank you, aap sab ne mujhe empathetically support kiya hai."
Reportedly, Bigg Boss 16 contestant Shiv Thakare is set to replace Dipika and enter as a wild card entry, though official confirmation is still pending.
