The much-awaited teaser of Ramayana featuring Ranbir Kapoor was released on Thursday, on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. However, the teaser doesn't have a glimpse of Sunny Deol, who plays the role of Hanuman in the film. Well, netizens are a bit upset that the makers unveiled the teaser on Hanuman Jayanti, and Deol was not shown in it.
A netizen tweeted, "The first glimpse of Ramayana was good, but I don't know why the team didn't show any shot of Sunny Deol in it on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. I saw many comments pointing out that they wanted to see Hanuman Ji look today (sic)."
Another X user wrote, "#HanumanJayanti pe teaser release kar rhe the to at least ek shot Hanuman Ji ka bhi hona chaiye tha. 😞😞 Music is 5/5, but VFX is quite average (sic)."

Meanwhile, Sunny shared the teaser on Instagram and wrote, "Every generation has grown up with his name. Now the whole world gets to see him. Maryada Purushottam Lord Rama. Namit Malhotra’s #Ramayana. Our Truth. Our History (sic)."

Well, the teaser has received mixed responses from netizens. Some are praising it, and some feel that the VFX could have been better. However, Bollywood celebrities like Karan Johar, Siddharth Anand, and others have loved the teaser, and they are praising Ranbir's look as Lord Rama.
The teaser showcases a few important moments from the life of Lord Rama, and we also get small and blurry glimpses of Ravie Dubey and Sai Pallavi. Meanwhile, the teaser ends with a glimpse of Yash as Raavan and the Pushpak Viman.
Ramayana Release Date
Ramayana part 1 will be released on Diwali this year, and part 2 will hit the big screens on Diwali 2027.
