Ed Sheeran has been in the news from the past few of days because of his visit to India. On Sunday evening, he had a concert in Bangalore, and on Sunday morning, he made it to the news for a wrong reason. The singer was seen singing at the Church Street Bangalore, but cops came and stopped it as it was done without permission.
However, Sheeran is back in the news for a good reason. The singer's video of singing Telugu song Chuttamalle along with Shilpa Rao has made it to the social media, and it has gone viral on social media.
Chuttamalle is a song from Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Devara, Sheeran has sung it really well in Telugu at his Bangalore concert. Even Janhvi and Jr NTR have reacted to it.
Ed Sheeran took to Instagram to share the video, and wrote, "Obsessed with @shilparao’s voice for the last while, a real privilege to share the stage tonight, and learn a new language!" Commenting on the post, Shipa wrote, "Artists always spread love. And it was absolutely that tonight. @teddysphotos you are coolness personified. Thank you for the love and warmth. Much love."
Reacting to this, Jr NTR shared on his Insta story, "Music has no boundaries and you prove it again Ed! Hearing you sing Chuttamalle in Telugu is truly special." Meanwhile, Janhvi shared, "What a crossover to wake up to."

Well, some netizens have also reacted to Ed Sheeran sing a Telugu song. A netizen wrote, "Give this man aadhaar card." An Instagram user commeted, "How did he learn these tough lyrics?" One more netizen commented, "Ed singing in Telugu wasn't in my 2025 bucket list."

Clearly, this was not expected. We have seen international singers trying to speak and sing in Hindi at their concerts. But, Ed Sheeran singing in Telugu has surprised one and all.
