l During the 2010 Summer US tour, Shreya Ghoshal received a rare honor from the State of Ohio. Governor Ted Strickland issued a proclamation declaring June 26, 2010 as Shreya Ghoshal Day.
l Shreya was not a graduate degree holder and still she had gained so much in life and is one of the top most singer in Bollywood Industry. However she pursues to finish her B.A. degree despite her buzzing career.
l No one knows that gorgeous Shreya Ghosal was also offered for a starring role in a “Bollywood” movie, but she rejected as she wants to stick to her singing career.
l At the age of 4, she started learning music, mainly Bengali songs, from her first Guru – her mother. She learnt Classical Hindustani Music from Rakesh Sharmaji of Kota, Shri Jayawardhan Bhatnagar, her school’s music teacher and thereafter, from Mahesh Chandra Sharmaji of Kota. She received training in playback singing from Padmashree Late Kalyanji Bhai at later stage
l She enjoys Symphony and instrumental in western music and her favourite is ABBA group.
