Shahid Kapoor is currently busy at the promotions of his upcoming movie Deva which is slated to release on January 31, 2025. He recently did a podcast with Raj Shamani, and spoke about a lot of things on it. One of the statements that has gone viral on social media is where Shahid is doing a facial expression (of trying to show attitude), and he said, "Aate hain kuchh log aise, ki main aa gaya hun types. Woh dikh jaata hai bro, 30 seconds mein pata chal jaata hai. When they enter a room they want to make you feel like they have entered the room. It’s okay, it’s a room full of people, you have also entered, chill bro. Toh woh toh hai, there are lots of people who have this."
While Shahid didn't take anyone's name, netizens started speculating that he is talking about Salman Khan and taking a dig at the Sikandar actor. However, recently, Shahid clarified that he wasn't take a dig at Salman.
Recently, during the promotions of Deva, Shahid was asked about taking a dig at Salman, he said, "Mujhe ek do logone message kiya hai aisa sochke. Honestly, I was just talking, I didn't think about it. But, if I ever want to take a dig, it will never be at somebody who is so sneior and so established, and who I have so much respect for."
Shahid and Salman share a good bond, and whenever, the former comes on Bigg Boss to promote his film, they dance together on the song Agal Bagal from Phata Poster Nikhla Hero. Well, as Shahid has clarified that the dig was not on Salman, we wonder which actor he was talking about.
During the same podcast, Shahid had spoken up about how he was made to feel less before Kabir Singh released. Even that statement of the actor has gone viral, and netizens are claiming that he is talking about Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. But, once again, Shahid didn't mention anyone's name.
