While everyone knows that love blossomed between the couple on the sets of Ram Leela, do you know what was the exact thing which led to the start of their relationship?
Apparently a crew member who was a part of Ram Leela, told Huffington Post that it was the passionate kiss shared by Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in the song Ang Laga De Re which made them realise that they have started falling in love with each other as even after Bhansali calling cut Ranveer and Deepika kept kissing each other for few seconds. That was the moment when Ranveer and Deepika surprised the unit as well as themselves.
The crew member said, “It was new love – euphoric and maddening. They’d call each other baby, eat together, and disappear into their vanity vans when not shooting. When I saw them during Bajirao Mastani, that’s when I knew, this is something that’s going to last. It’s like nothing else matters. And they talk about everything non-stop, like, say, a married couple would.”
The crew member further added, “He’s always giving her cues even when he doesn’t have to. It almost feels that for him, her career is more important than his. He was one of the first few people to tell her that she needs to go to Hollywood. He’s starry-eyed when she’s around.”
Aww, these revelations are just making us more impatient to see Ranveer and Deepika as man and wife.
