The pre-release event of Toxic in Hyderabad witnessed an overwhelming response from fans as actor Yash arrived at the venue. The event was organised by Telangana Legislative Assembly member Chamakura Malla Reddy, who had to step in and urge the crowd to maintain order as the gathering quickly became difficult to control. Several videos from the event have surfaced online, showing the massive crowd and the chaos surrounding Yash’s arrival.
In one of the videos, Malla Reddy can be seen standing on stage and asking the crowd to move back. Seeing the massive turnout and Yash’s craze, he repeatedly said, “Peeche mud”, urging fans to move backwards. Event organisers were also heard asking the crowd to maintain at least one arm’s distance, but the request appeared difficult to follow amid the overwhelming turnout.
At one point, an organiser was heard addressing the women in the crowd, saying, “I request all the girls to please move back. If not, then I'm going to stop the event right now.” Despite repeated requests, a massive crowd continued to gather around the venue.
Several users shared videos of the incident on social media. One user captioned the clip, “Crowd Out Of Control,” while another wrote, “Malla Reddy sir was shocked to see such huge craze for Yash in Hyderabad. Then he started saying, ‘Peeche mud!’” Another user praised the actor’s popularity, writing, “This is how SuperStardom looks. Massive crowd puller.”
The Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups pre-release event was held on August 22 at Malla Reddy University in Dulapally, Hyderabad, with the programme scheduled from 5 PM onwards. The event came just four days ahead of the film’s worldwide theatrical release on August 26, 2026.
