Confirmed! Salman Khan, Aamir Khan to collaborate after 25 years in ‘Andaz Apna Apna 2’

All the fans of Andaz Apna Apna who were dying to see the sequel or the second installment of the film can rejoice as it is finally confirmed that the movie will be having a second part and not starring Varun Dhawan or Ranveer Singh as the rumours suggested but it will star the original cast that is Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.

According to a Latestly, “Salman has suggested Ali Abbas Zafar’s name to the producers, which even Aamir agreed to, and he is on board as the director.”

The source further added that the makers are looking to rope in Shah Rukh Khan for a special appearance. This will be something on the lines of what Govinda did in the original film. While the male leads of the film have been retained, Raveena and Karisma will be replaced by the current lot of actress.

Andaz Apna Apna is a 1994 Indian slapstick comedy film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. The film was a failure at the box office but has since emerged as a cult classic in the comedy genre over the years.

On work front, while Salman Khan is busy shooting for Dabangg 3, Aamir Khan will soon start shooting for his next project, titled Lal Singh Chaddha, which is based On Tom Hanks Classic Forrest Gump.
