Pooja Hegde's dance number Monica from Rajinikanth starrer Coolie has become the talk of the town. The actress' glamorous avatar has grabbed everyone's attention. In the lyrics of the song, lyricist Vishnu Edavan has used the name of the actress Monica Bellucci. Now, recently, during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Pooja was told that the Italian actress has seen the song and she has 'loved it'.
Reacting to it, Pooja said, “That’s the biggest compliment ever. I’ve actually really loved Monica Bellucci. She’s so iconic in her own way for her persona. She didn’t need to do much; she has such a unique voice and style. I’m glad she liked it. A lot of Tamil fans were commenting on her Instagram, asking her to watch the Coolie song.”
Pooja Hegde Says Monica Is One Of Her Toughest Songs
While talking about shooting the song, Pooja revealed, “Monica was one of the toughest songs I’ve shot due to the conditions. It was outdoors, and it was really hot and humid. I looked unfazed, but the steps were heavy. The frames were wide, my hair was loose, and I had to look like I was not sweating even a little bit. It was physically draining and exhausting. I tanned so much at the end of five days."

Coolie Release Date
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie is slated to release on August 14. Apart from Rajinikanth, the film also stars Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Aamir Khan.
While it is a Tamil film, it will be dubbed and released in Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada. The movie is going to clash at the box office with War 2. It will be interesting to see which film will win the box office race.
