Many Bollywood celebs have visited Maha Kumbh, and joining the list is Rajkummar Rao. The actor along with his wife Patralekhaa has visited Prayagraj to take the dip at Sangam. He spoke about Maha Kumbh and how he feels lucky to be there. The actor also revealed if he would like to do a movie revolving around Kumbh. Read on to know more...

Many Bollywood celebs like Anupam Kher, Remo DSouza, Esha Gupta, Kabir Khan, and others have visited Maha Kumbh this year. Even Coldplay’s Chris Martin along with his girlfriend and actress Dakota Johnson took the holy dip at the Sangam. Now, Rajkummar Rao along with his wife Patralekhaa has visited Maha Kumbh to the holy dip.

While talking to ANI, Rajkummar said, “I am very excited to take the dip at Sangam. We had come here earlier as well. I and my wife we love Ma Ganga.”

Further talking about where he is staying, the actor revealed, “We are staying at Parmarth Niketan Ashram with Swami ji, and we are planning to take the dip today.”

When he was asked about the crowd at Maha Kumbh, Rao said, “There are lakhs to crores of people here. This is the beauty of Maha Kumbh that the whole Hindustan comes together. This a very big opportunity for people to come to Sangam and have a bath during Maha Kumbh. People, who get to do it, are very lucky. Even I feel I am very lucky. God has been really kind that we could come here, and we are getting this opportunity.”

When Rao was asked whether he would take any inspiration from Maha Kumbh and make a movie, the actor said, “Yes, of course, if we find a story because as I said there’s a magical aura here. There’s spirituality in the air. So, if something is made, then why not.”

Just a few days ago, Rajkummar Rao and his wife, Patralekhaa, announced their own production house named Kampa Film. They shared a note which read, “’Let the beauty of what you love be what you do,’ Rumi. Presenting ‘Kampa Film’. ( कैंपा फ़िल्म ) Nothing good happens in life without mother’s blessings. The name KAMPA is a combination of our mother’s names. The announcement of our first feature will be out soon. #KampaFilm.”

Well, their first production venture is Toaster which will premiere on Netflix. The movie stars Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra in the lead roles.
