Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are inarguably the most sought after reel-couple from among the young crop of actors. The two was last seen together in Shashank Khaitan’s ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ which was a modern re-telling of Aditya Chopra’s cult romantic classic, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’. And now the duo are back again with the second instalment of Shashank’s ‘Dulhania’ franchise, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’.

Varun Dhawan is his charming affable self, being the goofball that he is known to be. Though Alia Bhatt is missing from the teaser, we are expecting her to be the bubbly girl-next door she’s come to be known as. The teaser stars Varun in a funny scene where he is trying to pose for his photo but the cameraman is irritating him with so many suggestions. The teaser gives us a hint that this one is also going to be another fun ride like ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’.
Apart from ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, Varun has only one more release this year. He will next appear in ‘Judwaa 2’ which is directed by his father David Dhawan. ‘Judwaa 2’ is the sequel of 1977s Salman Khan Starrer ‘Judwaa’ which was also directed by David Dhawan. Meanwhile, ‘Badrinath’ appears to be Alia Bhatt’s only release in 2017. Alia will next appear in Ayaan Mukherji’s ‘Dragon’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor which does not have a release day yet.
