Bollywood actor Avinash Tiwary reacted to a viral video in which a female fan named Arpita Thapa was secretly recording him while he was working out at the gym. He also recalled speaking to the fan after she faced online backlash from netizens following the video's circulation. Speaking to Hindustan Times, Avinash said, "First of all, we do need to value each other’s space, and this is what I told the girl who made that video also."
Further sharing details of his conversation with Arpita, he stated that she was receiving a lot of backlash, and he assured her not to worry or listen to what people were saying, as he knew she was coming from a place of love and posed no threat to him. However, Tiwary added that such actions could encourage others to do the same.

He added, "I would always say that privacy is important. I didn't want somebody to make a video like that. But I told her that now that you have made it, I know it has come because of love, and I respect that. It is sweet, but it seems a slightly stupid thing to do honestly."
Avinash stated that the female fan was receiving online trolling, especially from men who questioned, "What if the genders were reversed?" The actor said, "The boys are commenting, saying, 'Hum kardein agar ye gender reverse, to?' But tum ho threat duniya ke liye, ladkiyon ke liye. If such boys stalk someone, they are a threat to them, so there is a distinction."
However, Avinash shared that he thinks it is sweet but at the same time, he feels that it was sweet, but he feels privacy should be valued.
