The videos of the veteran singer from the opening ceremony of PSL have gone viral on social media. While a few netizens are upset with the organisers of the event, a few are very happy that they got to watch the singer performing.

Abida is one of the highest-paid Pakistani singers, and she is called the Queen of Sufi music.

In an interview earlier, the singer had revealed that she was offered to sing in many Bollywood films, but she declined it because of her Sufi faith and the commitments that it requires.

However, her singles like Tere Ishq Nachaya, Damadam Mast Kalandar, Man Ali Maula, and others are very famous, not just in Pakistan, but also in India.

In 2021, the veteran singer also judged Sur Kshetra, an Indian reality show, in which it was a musical battle between Indian and Pakistan. The Indian team was led by Himesh Reshammiya and the Pakistani team was led by Atif Aslam.

Well, we are sure there will be many fans of Abida in India who would love to watch her sing live.
