Actress Amala Paul is all set to tie the knot for the second time with longtime boyfriend Jagat Desai. The actress, who is celebrating her 32nd birthday on Thursday (October 26), received a romantic wish from Jagat on social media. The couple also gave a glimpse of their dreamy proposal on Instagram.
In the video, the couple is seen at a fancy cafe during their vacation and Jagat surprises Amala with a special dance performance. After grooving with a few background dancers, Jagat brings Amala on stage and goes down on his knees to propose his girlfriend.
Soon after he asks, "Will you marry me," Amala says "Yes." The couple then kisses and hugs each other.
"My Gypsy Queen said yes ❤️ #weddingbells. Happy birthday my love," Jagat captioned his post on Instagram. Take a look at the video here:
Soon after the video was posted, fans flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages for the couple.
Jagat often shares photos and videos with Amala on Instagram. The actress was previously married to director AL Vijay. They tied the knot in 2014, however, they separated in 2016 and were granted a divorce by the courts in February 2017.
Amala primarily appears in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films. She made her acting debut with the Malayalam film Neelathamara in 2009. She gained recognition with her role in the Tamil film Mynaa in 2010, which earned her critical acclaim and several awards.
Amala was last seen opposite Ajay Devgn in the Hindi film Bholaa which released in March 2023. She will next be seen in Malayalam projects like Aadujeevitham, Dvija and an another untitled film.
