Alia Bhatt reminds me of myself sometimes: Madhuri Dixit

In a recent interview Madhuri Dixit revealed how Alia Bhatt with whom she is working in Kalank, sometimes remind her of herself. While talking about Alia and her traits as an actor, Madhuri said, “I really admire Alia and the roles she do. Be it Highway or Udta Punjab or the recent one Gully Boy, I think she becomes the character which is amazing. She is much disciplined and always on time. She will know her lines already. She is already prepared and she has no baggage that’s what I like most about her. She is in her own world. She reminds me of myself sometimes.”

Talking about Varun Dhawan, Madhuri said she loves the fact that Varun is always on the verge of pleasing his directors. “I love the fact that Varun always tries to please the director. He wants the director to say, Varun Kya shot diya hai, until then Varun is not happy. He always wants Abhishek (director) to give that big smile which is very rare as Abhishek hardly smiles.” said Madhuri.

Kalank is a period drama set in 1945 during the pre-independence British era. The film stars an ensemble cast of Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sanjay Dutt. It will hit the screen on April 17.
