Sunny Deol starrer Jaat which was released last Thursday has been doing well at the box office. However, it is yet to become a hit. But, it looks like the makers are quite confident that the movie will continue to do well at the ticket windows as a sequel to the film titled Jaat 2 has been announced. Sunny Deol took to social media to announce the sequel.
The actor wrote, "#Jaat on to a New Mission! #Jaat2." The sequel will be directed by Gopichand Malineni who also helmed Jaat.

Jaat is reportedly made on a budget of Rs. 100 crore. In seven days, the film has collected Rs. 57.50 crore, so it still needs 42.50 crore to suprass the budget. Maybe through the pre-sales like sattelite and OTT rights, the film might be turning a profitable venture for the makers, but it needs to surely perform better in the coming days to become a hit theatrically.
