Television actress Aditi Sharma has finally broken her silence on the shocking claims made by her estranged husband, Abhineet Kaushik, who accused her of having an extramarital affair with her Apollena co-star, Samarthya Gupta. She revealed that her husband would accuse her of 'cheating' almost every day and clarified that she and Samarthya are just 'very good friends.'
Aditi shared that even if she looked at a man, replied to him, or socialised and spoke to men at a party, Abhineet would call her really bad and terrible names. "If I chat with any guy he would have a problem with that too. It would be a big issue if I put a 'heart' emoticon also. And when we went to the counsellor to talk about our issues she also dismissed saying that this is his insecurity which is playing in his head," Aditi told India Forums.
Furthermore, Aditi stated that as a woman in 2025, she has the right to socialise and talk to her co-actors or other men, which is not wrong as long as she is not crossing any boundaries or flirting. Reacting to Abhineet's claims, she said that a man would never question or point a finger at his wife's character. Instead, he would accuse her of such things, making her feel small and bad about herself.
"It clearly shows what kind of a person he is and his thought process. I was slowly drifting away from all my friends and my family because of him,'' concluded Aditi.
Earlier, Aditi's husband, Abhineet stated that their marriage took an ugly turn after he caught Aditi having an extra-marital affair with his Apollena co-star, Samarthya Gupta.
He revealed that they got married in November last year at their Goregaon residence in Mumbai and are now heading for separation. Abhineet shared that Aditi insisted on keeping their marriage under wraps.
