Zoya Akhtar recently rubbished the reports which suggested that Ranveer Singh has been approached to step into the shoes of Shah Rukh Khan for Don 3, after the latter opted out of the film citing some personal reasons. When Pinkvilla contacted Zoya for the above news she said, “No, no. That’s absolute nonsense,”
On being probed further that when Don 3 will go on floors, the Gully Boy director said, “Na toh main Farhan Akhtar hoon, nahi main Shah Rukh Khan ya Ritesh Sidhwani hoon”
While Zoya definitely doesn’t want to divulge much details about Don 3, one thing is for sure that Ranveer hasn’t replaced Shah Rukh in Don 3 which is definitely a big news for SRK fans.
On the work front, while Ranveer is shooting for Kapil Dev’s biopic ‘83, Shah Rukh too without giving away much information has confirmed that he has signed a Bollywood film.
