The best in Bollywood this weekend gathered once again for the 64th annual edition of the Filmfare Awards in Mumbai. If the style statements and power packed performances and deserving awards weren’t enough, the celebs shared special moments behind the scenes and on the red carpet garnering all the attention for the award night.
From adorable PDA, friendship goals to actors hyping each other up, here are the highlights of Filmafare Awards 2019.
Ranbir-Alia and Ranveer-Deepika
The best moments of the show were dominated by the new couples in B-Town, Ranbir-Alia, Ranveer- Deepika hungout together trumped them all.
The four also stole adorable moments when receiving awards on stage. While Alia said ‘I love you’ to Ranbir, the newly married couple Ranveer and Deepika kissed on stage.
Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal’s Kiss
Ranbir Kapoor’s PDA with Alia Bhatt was adorable, but he also shared a special moment with his Sanju buddy Vicky Kaushal. When announced Ranbir is the winner for Best Actor he first planted a kiss on girlfriend Alia’s face and later leaned in for a lip lock with Vicky.

It was known that Vicky Kaushal’s act will be a tribute to Amitabh Bachchan’s best films, but the crowd when crazy when Shah Rukh Khan chimed in for ‘Main Ho Don’.
Sridevi presented with the lifetime Achievement award
Late legendary actress Sridevi was posthumously conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award which her daughters Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and husband Boney Kapoor collected on her behalf.
Debutants Sara Ali Khan, Mouni Roy and Janhvi Kapoor stealing the show
Shah Rukh Khan took all the debutants including October’s actress Banita Sandhu, Mouni Roy, Radhik Madan and Janhvi Kapoor on stage for a short performance.
‘Raazi’ gathers 4 big wins
The film didn’t just score the Best Film Popular Choice Award, it also won Alia Bhatt The Best Actor female award, Best Director to Meghna Gulzar, and Best Playback Singer (Male) to Arijit Singh for ‘Aye Watan’.
Some of other breakthrough movies to gather well deserved fame on the Filmfare stage were, Andhadhun with 5 wins and Badhaai Ho with 4 wins.
Red Carpet Extravaganza
Some of the best Red carpet looks at the night had to be Ranveer’s dazzling golden Blazer, Alia’s Ralph & Russo corset dress and Ayushmaan’s style statement with a red blazer while sporting the cop look from his upcoming film, ‘Article 15’.
