Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in the Uttar Pradesh city of Varanasi today and will be inaugurating, Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam, a three-day summit on education.

The University Grants Commission and Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi are hosting the education summit. The implementation of NEP 2020 in Indian higher education institutions is the primary topic of discussion at this summit.

The education summit, which is being held over a span of three days - July 7, 8, and 9, 2022, will see the presence of PM Modi who is delivering a speech to the audience present and will kickstart the discussions under this Shiksha Samagam.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also delivered a speech, during the event.
