UPSC CMS 2025: Registration for the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMS), 2025 will close today, March 11, according to the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Candidates can use the links provided at upsc.gov.in and upsconline.gov.in to apply for the exam.

Important details:

Last date to register: March 11, 2025

Application correction window: March 12 – March 18, 2025

Exam date: July 20, 2025

Admit card release: Expected two weeks before the exam

Vacancy details:

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is conducting this examination to fill approximately 705 vacancies in two categories.

Category-I:

Medical Officers Grade in General Duty Medical Officers Sub-cadre of Central Health Service – 226 vacancies

Category-II:

Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways – 450 vacancies

General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council – 9 vacancies

General Duty Medical Officer Gr-II in Municipal Corporation of Delhi – 20 vacancies

Eligibility criteria:

Age Limit

Candidates must be under 32 years as of August 1, 2025, for all positions except one.

For Medical Officers Grade in General Duty Medical Officers Sub-cadre of Central Health Services, the maximum age limit is 35 years as of August 1, 2025.

Age relaxation is applicable for candidates in the reserved category as per government guidelines.

Candidates must have passed the final MBBS examination, including both written and practical sections.

Those who have not yet appeared for the final exam may apply provisionally but must submit proof of passing within the timeframe specified in the exam notification.

Candidates who have not completed their required rotational internship may still take the exam. However, if selected, they will not be hired until they complete the internship.

Candidates must meet the physical and medical standards set for the Combined Medical Services Examination 2025.

Application fees:

The application fee is ₹200.

SC, ST, PwBD, and Female candidates are exempt from paying the fee.

Verify the accuracy of all the information before proceeding.

Use the registered login information to access the application form.

Enter your personal information, educational history, and exam choices.

The application fees can be paid with a debit or credit card or using net banking.

After completing the payment, click "Submit" to generate a confirmation page.

For later usage, the form ought to be printed and saved.
