Prachi Nigam, the student who came into the spotlight after topping the UP Board Class 10 examinations in 2024, has once again proved her academic strength. Prachi has now secured 91.20 per cent marks in the UP Board Class 12 examinations, continuing her journey of success despite facing harsh trolling in the past.
Prachi studies at Sita Bal Vidya Mandir Inter College in Sitapur district. Two years ago, after topping the Class 10 board exams, her photograph had gone viral on social media. Instead of celebrating her achievement, some people mocked her facial hair.
Focused on studies, not negativity
Prachi did not allow the comments to distract her. She chose to stay focused on her studies and worked quietly toward her next goal.
Her latest result reflects that determination. By scoring above 91 per cent in the Class 12 board exams, she has once again shown that hard work matters more than appearances.

Prachi’s response for online trolling
Prachi earlier responded to online trolling with maturity. She had said that perhaps she would not have topped the exams if she did not have facial hair.
She also made it clear that her attention has always been on studies rather than looks. For her, success speaks louder than public comments.
Dream of studying at IIT
Prachi now wants to become an engineer and pursue higher studies at an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). At present, she is getting ready for her entrance examinations and is still hopeful of making her dreams come true.
Despite being absent from the merit list this year, Prachi is very optimistic. According to her, life is full of ups and downs, and each outcome brings some experience. She is still an inspiration for many other students who are criticised but work hard to excel despite it all.
