UGCET 2026 Second Round, UGNEET 2026 First Round Provisional Seat Allotment Result: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the provisional seat allotment results for the second round of UGCET 2026 and the first round of UGNEET 2026. The results were published on August 23 for candidates seeking admission to engineering and other undergraduate courses, as well as medical and dental programmes.
Seat allotment details released
The provisional allotment covers UGCET courses including Engineering, Architecture, Yoga and Naturopathy, Agricultural Sciences, Veterinary, BSc Nursing, BPharma, Pharm-D, BPT, BPO and Allied Health Sciences. The UGNEET allocation covers undergraduate medical and dental courses.
Candidates can check their provisional allotment status through the official KEA website, kea.kar.nic.in.
Objections can be submitted till 4 PM today
KEA has asked candidates to carefully verify the provisional allotment result. If a candidate has a specific objection related to the published result, such as the cutoff being checked or options being entered but no seat being allotted, the objection can be sent to KEA by email.
Candidates must send their objections, along with proper justification, to keauthority-ka@nic.in by 4 PM on August 24, 2026.
However, KEA has clarified that objections should not be submitted in cases where a seat was not allotted because the candidate had not entered the required option. Candidates also cannot make changes to their choices at this stage.
Candidates should not report to allotted college yet
Since the seat allotment result released on August 23 is provisional, candidates have been specifically advised not to report to the provisionally allotted college based on this result.
KEA will examine the objections received from candidates before publishing the final seat allotment results. The final results for the UGCET 2026 second round and UGNEET 2026 first round will be announced after the objection verification process is completed.
Candidates are advised to keep checking the official KEA website for further updates, instructions and announcements related to the admission process.
