TNPSC Group 2 registration 2025: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) will shortly conclude the online application process for the Combined Civil Services Examination - II (Group II and IIA Services). TNPSC Group 2 2025: Selection process
The TNPSC Group 2 selection process varies depending on the post you apply for.
For Group 2 (Interview) posts, the process consists of three stages – the Preliminary Examination, the Main Written Examination, and the Interview.
For Group 2A (Non-Interview) posts, there are only two stages – the Preliminary and Main Written Examinations. The Preliminary Exam is an objective-type test, and candidates must secure at least 90 marks to qualify. Those who pass proceed to the Main Written Exam. In the case of Group 2 posts, the process concludes with a final Interview, which plays a crucial role in determining the final selection.
