SSC Stenographer Admit Card 2025: The admission cards for the Stenographer Grade "C" and "D" Skill Test 2024 have been released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Hall passes are now available for download on the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in, for qualified applicants. The skill test will be administered at approved testing locations around the country on April 16 and 17, 2025.
SSC Stenographer 2025: Steps to download admit card
Step 1: Go to ssc.gov.in, the official SSC website.
Step 2: On the homepage, select the "Candidate Login" option.
Step 3: Enter your SSC registration password and registration number.
Step 4: View and confirm the information on the displayed admit card.
Step 5: Download several copies and print them out for future use.
SSC Stenographer 2025: Exam pattern
The test evaluates a candidate’s shorthand and transcription skills in either Hindi or English.
Candidates must transcribe a 10-minute dictation on a computer within the assigned time limit.
Shorthand speed requirement:
Grade C:
- Hindi – 80 words per minute (w.p.m.)
- English – 100 w.p.m.
Grade D:
- Hindi – 65 w.p.m.
- English – 80 w.p.m.
Transcription time allotted:
Grade D:
- Hindi – 65 minutes (90 minutes with a scribe)
- English – 50 minutes (70 minutes with a scribe)
Grade C:
- Hindi – 55 minutes (with scribe: 75 minutes)
- English – 40 minutes (with scribe: 55 minutes)
