Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Friday released the final result of the Combined Hindi Translators Examination 2024, which concludes the recruitment process for all translator posts in different central government ministries and departments.

Subject to the candidates' aggregate scores in Paper-I and Paper-II and their preferences for post, the SSC has now published the final result of 272 candidates who have been provisionally appointed to various Ministries, Departments, and Offices of the Government of India.

Tie-Breaking and Candidate Allocation

Where candidates had the same overall marks, the Commission broke the tie based on the following order of criteria:

-Date of birth (older candidates were higher in rank)

-Alphabetical order of names

Document Verification & Appointment

The user departments so allocated will now conduct document verification (DV) and final appointment formalities for the shortlisted candidates. The candidates are requested to wait for communication from their concerned departments. In case of no communication within a period of six months from the date of result declaration, they should contact the concerned department directly.

SSC has mentioned clearly that no waiting list or reserve has been made. All unfilled vacancies or positions left vacant for non-joining will be forwarded to the subsequent recruitment cycle.
