Genesis Global School, located in Noida, has achieved a historic academic milestone in the IB Diploma Programme 2025 results, with six students securing an impressive 43 out of 45 points, the highest number of top scorers in the school’s history.

The high-achieving students—Kushagra Jain, Saaransh Jain, Asneh Kaur Malhotra, Olivia Tito, Mahirr Sikka, and Sameer Gupta—have set a new benchmark for future cohorts. Nearly one-fourth of the batch scored 40 points or more, marking a sharp rise in overall academic performance.

“I believe our school did incredibly well, with one-fourth of the batch achieving a score of 40 and above, along with six batch toppers. It’s a strong reflection of our academic dedication and teaching excellence,” said Asneh Kaur Malhotra, one of the toppers.

“Many students achieved a full 3 points in EE and TOK, which is a huge accomplishment. IB was a new and challenging journey for me, coming from a CBSE background, but I gradually appreciated its focus on independent thinking. I’m grateful to be part of a school that empowers students to aim higher,” she added.

The success extended beyond individual scores, with strong performance across various subjects. According to the school’s internal review, many students performed exceptionally well in the Extended Essay (EE) and Theory of Knowledge (TOK), with a notable improvement in the Language Acquisition segment.

“This year’s result has been much better than previous years. The number of 40+ achievers and six students scoring 43 is a first,” said Sameer Gupta, another top scorer.

“Despite slightly tougher papers this year, we managed to meet or exceed expectations. The school’s ongoing support played a huge role in helping us prepare and perform better than expected in many subjects,” he added.

“Undoubtedly, this year’s results were phenomenal,” said Mahirr Sikka.

“Nearly a quarter of the class receiving 40+ grade points is unlike anything we’ve seen before. These outcomes also secure my admission to top universities and reflect a positive academic shift in our school’s overall performance.”

Mamta Kathuria, HOD Language Acquisition and IB French Language Facilitator, shared an academic overview, "The IB 2025 results reflect a notable improvement in our school’s performance. Six students scoring 43 points is a remarkable achievement. We’ve also seen a significant rise in students scoring 36 and above, indicating holistic progress."

She further highlighted departmental success: "Three students achieved a perfect score of 7 in Language Acquisition, which speaks volumes about both student commitment and faculty strength. Our future goal is not just excellence at the top, but to ensure no student scores below a 4."
