SBI PO Recruitment 2025: Eligibility criteria
a. Education qualification (as on 30/09/2025)
1. The applicant must be a graduate in any discipline from a reputable university, or hold an equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government.
2. Applicants in their final year/semester of graduation may also apply temporarily, with the caveat that if summoned for an interview, they must provide proof of having passed their graduation exams.
3. Aspirants having an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate must check that the date of passing the IDD matches the notification.
4. Those who hold a Chartered Accountant qualification may also apply.
b. Age limit (as on 01/04/2025)
The applicant must be between the ages of 21 and 30, which means they must have been born between April 1, 2004 and April 2, 1995.
c. Age relaxation
According to government regulations, applicants from certain designated categories may be older than the standard age limit. People from the Other Backwards Classes (OBC - Non-Creamy Layer) can get a 3-year break. People from Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) can get a 5-year age relaxation.
The age limit for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) varies by category: 10 years for PwBD candidates who are Unreserved (UR) or Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 13 years for PwBD-OBC, and 15 years for PwBD-SC/ST candidates. Ex-servicemen can also have their age lowered by five years.
