SBI Clerk Recruitment 2026: The State Bank of India (SBI) has started the online application process for the recruitment of 1,538 Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill backlog vacancies reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates.
The online registration process commenced on August 7, 2026, and will remain open until August 27, 2026. Candidates can apply for vacancies in only one state or union territory (UT). Of the total vacancies, 207 are reserved for SC, 1,219 for ST, and 112 for OBC candidates. Selected candidates will be posted in the State or UT for which they apply.

SBI Clerk Recruitment 2026: How To Apply
Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the SBI Careers portal at sbi.bank.in/web/careers/current-openings. The application process includes registration, filling in personal and educational details, uploading the required documents, and payment of the applicable fee.
Applicants should keep a valid email ID and mobile number active throughout the recruitment process. They should also have scanned copies of their photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration ready before beginning the application.
After completing the application and fee payment, candidates should download and save the system-generated application form and e-receipt for future reference.
The application window will remain open until August 27, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete the registration well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
