RRB Recruitment 2025: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have recently decided to extend the application process for 32,438 assistant and other vacancies. Now, applicants can apply for the same by up to March 1 (11:59 pm) on the official website of RRB at rrbapply.gov.in. Earlier, the last date to apply for the same was February 22, 2025.

- For Traffic: POINTSMAN B
RRB Recruitment 2025: Eligibility criteria
As of January 1, 2025, candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 36 and have completed Class 10, ITI, or have an equivalent qualification or an NCVT-issued National Apprenticeship Certificate.

RRB Recruitment 2025: Selection process
The selection process consists four-stage:
- Computer-based test
- Physical efficiency test
- Document verification
- Medical examination
RRB Recruitment 2025: Exam pattern
There will be a total of 100 questions in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). For every incorrect answer, one-third of the allotted marks for that question will be subtracted. The total time allotted for the exam is 90 minutes.
To qualify for the exam, candidates from the unreserved and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) must secure 40 per cent of the marks, whereas candidates from OBC (non-creamy layer), SC, and ST categories need to achieve 30 per cent of the total marks.
RRB Recruitment 2025: Application fees
The application fee for this recruitment process follow:
- PwBD, Female, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen, SC, ST, Minority Community, and Economically Backward Class (EBC): ₹250
- Other candidates: ₹500
For candidates who are PwBD, Female, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen, SC, ST, Minority Community, and Economically Backward Class (EBC), the application fee will be refunded post-deduction of bank charges after they appear for the CBT. In contrast, other candidates will receive ₹400 back after attending the CBT.
