OPSC OCS Main Exam: A necessary notice on the OPSC OCS Main Exam option paper has been out by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC). Applicants who sat for the Odisha Civil Services 2023 main examination can read the OPSC official notice on the official website of OPSC at opsc.gov.in.
The Odisha Civil Services Examination 2023 is set to be held for 399 positions advertised by different state government ministries. The registration procedure began on January 18 and concluded on February 16, 2024.

As per the official notice, The written test took place on April 27, 2025. The option paper (Anthropology, Paper I and Anthropology, Paper II) is taught in two sessions: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. During the written examination of Anthropology, Paper I in the first session, it was discovered that the question-and-answer booklet of Anthropology, Paper I included questions from the syllabus of Anthropology Paper II.
The Commission then directed that the examination be continued, and the affected applicants were advised to attend for the question paper.
Nevertheless, the OPSC chose that the final judgement would be made upon the opening of the Anthropology Paper-II question and answer booklet package in the second session.
Odisha Civil Services 2023 main exam details
The Odisha Civil Services Main Examination occurred between April 19 and April 27, 2025. It was divided into two shifts: 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The exam started with Odia and English Language papers and ended with Optional Subject papers I and II. The main examination gives 2000 points, with 250 for the Interview/Personality test.
