The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released an advisory to NEET PG 2025 candidates regarding the increase in fake notices, spam emails, SMS, and misleading information being spread under the board's name.

NBEMS underscored that all applicants should look up only the official sites at natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in for authentic and verified details. The board further clarified that its only official social media handle is through its WhatsApp Channel.

In order to assist candidates in checking authenticity, all NBEMS notices issued after July 2020 now have a QR code. Scanning the code will directly take the candidate to the original notice on the NBEMS website, simplifying the process of authenticating communication.

NBEMS has also cautioned candidates against fraudulent agents or touts who make false claims of high marks, question papers, or exam clearing in return for money. The claims are usually made through forged emails, SMS, or social media messages. The board categorically asserted that it never gives guarantees of marks, ranks, or exam matters at any cost.

Candidates who are in receipt of doubtful messages or are approached by fraudulent persons are requested to:

-Confirm the information through official NBEMS platforms.

-Report the incident by contacting reportumc@natboard.edu.in or local authorities.

NBEMS calls upon all students to be careful, aware, and alert to scams.
