Mumbai: Within five days, a hoax bomb threat was received by two schools in Mumbai city. This time, Kandivali Education Society School and Junior College received a bomb threat via email on Monday. The email was sent to the school's official administration email address.

The Kandivali police, along with the bomb detection and disposal squad and a dog squad, arrived at the school and conducted a search operation but did not find anything suspicious.

A police officer said that the administration of the school in Kandivali received an email in which the sender claimed to be associated with the Afzal gang and stated that a bomb had been planted on the premises. Authorities conducted a search operation but found nothing.

The police have not filed a case but are investigating the matter. However, the school has not released any statement.

Meanwhile, a similar incident occurred a few days ago, on January 23, at Global International School in Oshiwara. That school also received a similar email, in which the sender claimed that members of the Afzal gang had planted explosives on the school premises. This threat also turned out to be a rumor.
