MHT CET 2025: The online registration procedure date extended for the Maharashtra Common Eligibility Test (MHT CET 2025) by the State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) Maharashtra. Now, candidates can apply for the same till February 27, 2025, from the official website of MHT CAT at cetcell.mahacet.org.
MHT CET 2025: Important Dates
- Online registration & Confirmation of Application Form on the website (with additional Late Fee of Rs. 500/- for all categories): February 23rd, 2025 to February 27th, 2025
- Payment– Only through Online mode: Upto February 28th, 2025
- MHT CET correction window (Expected): March 2025
- MHT CET exam date: PCM: April 19 to 27 and PCB: April 9 to March 17
MHT CET 2025: Application fee
- General category (open category), Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), and J&K Migrant candidates: Rs 1,000.
- Backward Class Category (SC, ST, VJ/DTNT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC, SEBC, EWS candidates and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates and all Orphan, Transgender (Other) category candidates: Rs 800.
- Candidates need to pay Rs 500/- as a late fee, applicable to all categories.
MHT CET 2025: Exam pattern
The exam will be divided into two categories: PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).
The CET cell assigns around 20% of the weightage to the Class 11 curriculum and 80% to the Class 12 curriculum while creating the question papers.
There will be no negative marks on the test. According to the official website, the level of difficulty of questions in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics would be comparable to the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains, while Biology will be comparable to the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET).

Step 3: After this, candidates have to register themselves by entering the required details.
Step 4: Now, applicants need to log in to the account and finish the application form.
Step 5: Next, upload the important documents and make the payment.
Step 6: Submit the form after reviewing the form carefully.
Step 7: Download the form and take a printout of the same for future reference.
