Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 CAP Round 1: The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2026 online registration process for the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programmes has begun, according to the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell. Up until August 12, 2026, qualifying applicants who passed the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 can apply via the official admission portal.

The official announcement states that NEET UG 2026 merit will be the sole basis for admissions to government, government-aided, municipal corporation, private unaided and other registered medical and dental colleges in Maharashtra.

Regardless of whether they have registered for the All-India Quota counselling, aspirants seeking admission under the state quota must register separately with the State Competent Authority, according to the CET Cell.
