Maharashtra HSC 12th Result 2025 (Out): Girls Outshine Boys By 5.07%

The Maharashtra HSC Result 2025 is out with a 91.88% pass rate. Girls outperformed boys by 5.07 points. Science topped at 97.35%, followed by Commerce (92.38%) and Arts (80.52%).

Maharashtra HSC 12th Result 2025: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has officially declared the HSC (Class 12) results for 2025, with an outstanding pass rate of 91.88%. Beginning at 1:00 PM today, students will be able to view their results online.

In Maharashtra, 1427085 students registered for the HSC exam this year. Of them, 1302873 pupils passed the exam out of the 1417969 who took them. A total of 36133 private applicants enrolled for the test; 35697 of them showed up, and 29892 of them passed; this represents an 83.73% pass percentage for private students.

The exam was taken by 42024 of the 42388 repeaters who registered, and 15823 of them passed, resulting in a passing percentage of 37.65%. 20943 students in total have earned extra credit for their outstanding performance in sports or scout and guide activities.

Maharashtra HSC 12th Result 2025: Girls Outshine Boys

Girls have outperformed boys by a margin of  5.07 percentage points. The pass percentage for girl students stands at 94.58% , while for boys, it is 89.51%.

Maharashtra HSC 12th Result 2025: Stream-wise Performance

The Science stream has once again emerged as the top performer among the several streams, with the highest pass percentage:

- Science: 97.35%

- Commerce: 92.38%

- Arts: 80.52%

- Vocational: 83.26%
