Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2025: The Maharashtra School Education and Sports Department issued the dates for the CAP Round 2 of the First Year Junior College (FYJC) admissions for the year 2025. Those who are interested in applying for the second round of Common Admission Process can apply online at mahafyjcadmissions.in from July 10, 2025, 10 AM to July 13, 2025, 6:30 PM.
In this registration period, new candidates have the option to select between 1 and 10 junior colleges of their choice. Further, students who could not get admitted in CAP Round 1 can modify their stream and college preferences in this round.
The seat allocation result of Round 2 will be released on July 17, 2025, where the chosen candidates will be informed through their college or student login page and SMS as well.
The students who have been selected are required to report to their respective colleges and upload the necessary documents between July 18 and July 21, 2025, to secure their admission. After this, the remaining vacant seats will be displayed on July 23, 2025.
Overview of CAP Round 1 Admissions 2025:
The first round of admissions ended with the announcement of the allotment and merit lists on June 28. Of 5,08,096 candidates, 4,32,287 students were allotted seats via CAP, whereas 75,809 students were admitted through other quota systems.
The CAP process is being held only in five urban regions this year: Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Pune-Pimpri Chinchwad, Nashik, Nagpur, and Amravati.
According to the data, 1,49,791 students selected the Arts, 1,39,602 selected the Commerce, and 3,42,801 selected the Science stream.
