KVS NVS Tier 2 Result 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Tier-II recruitment examination results for selected posts under the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). The results were declared on August 23, 2026, as part of the ongoing recruitment process under Recruitment Notification 01/2025.
The Tier-II results have been released for PGT Physics, Vice Principal and Stenographer Grade-II posts. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check their individual result or shortlisting status by logging into the application portal through the official recruitment examination website.
The results for the remaining posts will be released in phases, CBSE stated.

KVS NVS Tier 2 Result 2026: Posts for which results are out
The CBSE has declared Tier-II results for the following KVS and NVS posts:
PGT Physics
Vice Principal
Stenographer Grade-II
Candidates can log in to the application portal using their credentials to check their result and, wherever applicable, their shortlisting status.
Marks availability depends on selection process
CBSE has clarified that the availability of Tier-II marks will depend on the selection process prescribed for the particular post.
For posts where an interview is part of the selection process, the Tier-II result currently indicates whether the candidate has been shortlisted for the interview. Since the selection process is still underway, the marksheets for such candidates will be made available within 15 days of the declaration of the final result, after the interview process is completed.
For posts where there is no interview, candidates will be able to view their Tier-II marks through their respective application logins along with the result.
Preference submission, interview and skill test details
Candidates who are required to submit a preference as per the recruitment notification can do so through their application portal. CBSE has advised candidates to carefully exercise their preference within the stipulated deadline.
For posts involving an interview or skill test, the schedule and call letters will be made available through the respective candidate logins once the schedule is finalised in consultation with KVS or NVS, as applicable.

Step 1: Visit the official CBSE recruitment examination portal.
Step 2: Open the link for the KVS/NVS Tier-II Recruitment Examination 2026 result.
Step 3: Select the result link corresponding to the post for which you appeared.
Step 4: Enter the required login details, such as application or registration number and date of birth.
Step 5: Check the result, marks and shortlisting status displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Download and save the result for future reference.

Remaining KVS, NVS results to be released in phases
CBSE said that the results for the remaining posts are being finalised and will continue to be announced in phases. Candidates have been advised to regularly check the official websites of CBSE, KVS and NVS, along with their individual application logins, for further updates.
The board has also clarified that the EMRS Tier-II Recruitment Examination results will be declared separately through the official EMRS/NESTS website.
