In a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, the JEE Main test for B.E./B.Tech exam was conducted. It includes three fundamental subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. There are two portions for each subject: Section A consists of multiple-choice questions, while Section B consists of questions based on numbers. The paper comprises a total of 75 questions with a maximum of 300 marks.

- JEE Advanced is open to the top 2.5 lakh applicants from JEE Main 2025 (in all categories).
- Category-specific cut-off marks must be met to qualify for JEE Advanced.
- Performance in both JEE Main sessions (January and April) is considered for final eligibility.
- Candidates must ensure their percentile score exceeds the required threshold for their respective category.
- In order to get admitted to the IITs, one must be eligible for JEE Advanced.
