For postgraduate (PG) and PhD admissions in 2025, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has opened the application process. The application form must be completed before April 7, 2025. Online applications will be accepted at iitd.ac.in.
Ph.D. Programmes Details:
Admission to the Ph.D. programmes is usually on the basis of an interview of shortlisted candidates by the concerned Department/Centre/School through its Department Research Committee (DRC), Centre Research Committee (CRC), or School Research Committee (SRC). The DRC/CRC/SRC can also opt to have a written test, multiple interviews, or any other test to shortlist the candidates as per the information brochure.
Admission to Full-time Ph.D. Programmes: Minimum Qualification
M.Tech./M.E./M.D./M.Des. or equivalent
- Minimum Performance: 60 per cent marks or 6.00 CGPA on a 10-point scale
- Qualification Through National Level Examination: Nil
M.Sc./MBA/M.A./M.B.B.S. or equivalent
- Minimum Performance: 60 per cent marks or 6.00 CGPA on a 10-point scale
- Qualification Through National Level Examination: Qualified GATE/CSIR/UGC NET/ICAR/ICMR/DST-INSPIRE fellowship
B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent
- Minimum Performance: 70 per cent marks or 7.00 CGPA on a 10-point scale
- Qualification Through National Level Examination: Qualified GATE/CSIR/UGC NET/CEED/ICAR/DST INSPIRE Fellowship
