Vice-Chancellor Applauds a Transformative Achievement

Congratulating the students, Col. Dr. Hemlata K. Bagla, Vice Chancellor, HSNC  University described the accomplishment as a reflection of hard work, merit and determination. She emphasised that language is not merely a tool of communication but a force that refines personality and sharpens professional skills.

Dr. Bagla further noted that employment opportunities in Hindi are expanding rapidly across corporate, administrative and government sectors, yet there remains a shortage of trained and competent professionals. She added that achievements like these demonstrate the value of dedication and focused effort and they set a benchmark for other students to aspire to. Encouraging students and parents alike, she urged them to view Hindi as a powerful and promising career option in today’s competitive environment.

Breaking Stereotypes: Hindi as a High-Paying Career

At a time when STEM fields and MBA are often viewed as the primary gateway to high salaries, these placements underscore the growing strategic importance of Hindi in corporate governance, banking, energy and port administration sectors. Rajbhasha professionals today play a critical role in regulatory compliance, bilingual documentation, parliamentary reporting and official communication, areas increasingly vital to public sector undertakings and financial institutions.

Selections in Leading National Institutions

Among the selected students, Pallavi Jaiswal and Supriya Pandhare have been appointed to the Export-Import Bank (EXIM Bank) with annual packages of approximately Rs19 lakh each. Abhimanyu Kumar has secured a position at the Mumbai Port Trust with an annual package of Rs17.5 lakh. Pallavi Jaiswal has also received an additional offer from Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) at Rs17 lakh per annum, marking a rare dual selection. Sanskriti Singh has been selected for Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) Rajasthan Refinery Limited (HRRL) with an annual package of Rs11 lakh. Particularly noteworthy is Pallavi Jaiswal’s selection in two prestigious institutions, reflecting both her individual merit and the department’s academic excellence.

Women Leading the Way

The success of female candidates in key selections highlights the growing role of women in governance-oriented language careers. Their achievements serve as an inspiration for language students across disciplines.

A Strong Industry-Academia Connect

HSNC University’s Hindi department’s focus on official language implementation, translation studies, administrative drafting and compliance documentation has aligned closely with industry requirements. This bridge between classroom training and corporate expectations has played a crucial role in securing high-value placements.

Prof. (Dr.) Tejashree Shanbhag, Principal, K.C. College of Arts, Science & Commerce said the achievement serves as an inspiration for other language students, affirming that Hindi studies today pave the way to esteemed positions in both corporate and administrative sectors.

Dr. Ajit Kumar Rai, Head of the Hindi Department, was thrilled and expressed immense pride, crediting the students’ sustained hard work and the department’s strong academic legacy. He remarked that the department has historically produced educators, journalists and official language officers and this latest success adds another golden chapter to that tradition.

Hindi as Career Capital

Beyond individual success stories, this achievement signals a broader shift: Hindi is emerging not only as a vehicle of cultural expression but also as a strategic professional asset. In an era of multilingual governance, policy implementation and corporate accountability, language expertise is increasingly indispensable.

This landmark achievement by the Hindi Department of K.C. College, HSNC University stands as a powerful testament to the transformative potential of language education. By securing prestigious positions in leading national institutions, these students have not only elevated the reputation of the department but also redefined the career landscape for humanities graduates. Their success highlights how academic rigour, industry-aligned training and institutional vision can turn linguistic expertise into a highly valued professional asset. As HSNC University and K.C. College continue to nurture talent and expand opportunities in the field of Hindi and official language studies, this moment marks not just a placement milestone, but the beginning of a new narrative where language proficiency becomes a gateway to leadership, influence and national impact.
