Prior to his spiritual transformation, Abhay Singh was a brilliant student. His 10th and 12th standard mark sheets, which have recently surfaced online, reflect his brilliance. He had a stunning 93 per cent in his 10th board exams and 92.4 per cent in his 12th, as per the media reports. These exceptional scores reflected his intellectual potential and earned him a highly sought-after seat at IIT Bombay, one of India's top engineering institutions.
IIT-JEE Success and All India Rank
Abhay's impressive academic career reached its peak in 2008 when he secured an All India Rank (AIR) of 731 in the IIT-JEE exam, putting him among the country's best engineering aspirants.
From Aerospace Engineer to Spiritual Seeker
Abhay completed his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Bombay in the 2008-2012 batch. Although he had a strong academic record, he took an unexpected turn, giving up a high-paying job to seek spiritual enlightenment.
In a disclosure about his past, Abhay shared that he spent three years working in Canada, where he earned a whopping salary of Rs 36 lakh every year. But he opted out of this worldly success for a way of life based on self-discovery and philosophy.
Abhay's Diverse Journey Before Embracing Spirituality
Abhay also disclosed that he studied for a Master's in Design (MDes) and was a photographer prior to his life-changing in a deeply spiritual way. He credited this change to his reflective search for meaning and truth, which saw him delve into the works of philosophers such as Socrates and Plato, and the concepts of post-modernism.
