DU UG Admissions 2025: Delhi University will issue the second round of undergraduate admissions vacant seats list tomorrow, July 24, 2025, under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). This will be followed round 2 seat allotment results to be declared at 5 PM on July 28, 2025, on the official website at admissions.uod.ac.in.
Once the vacant seat list is out, candidates will be able to change their college and course order between July 24 and July 25. Those who are being awarded a seat in the second round will need to confirm their allocation between 5 PM on July 28 and 4:59 PM on July 30.
In the first round, DU offered a total of 93,166 allocations against 71,624 available seats, out of which 72,659 candidates accepted their seats. This trend of over-allocation is expected to lead to internal shifts and reallocations in the coming rounds, as has been the case in previous years.
This year, 3,05,357 students logged in on the CSAS portal, out of which 2,39,890 finished the preference-filling exercise. Out of the applicants, 53.06% (1,27,284) were female candidates and 46.93% (1,12,603) were male candidates.

Most Popular Courses in 2025
BCom (Hons) was at the top of the preference list this year with an enormous 19,90,966 programme-college combinations, followed by:
- BCom: 15,26,403 preferences
- BA (Hons) English: 12,23,388
- BA (Hons) Political Science: 9,96,868
- BA (Hons) History: 7,72,029
Admissions are being provided by the university in 79 UG courses in 69 colleges with a number of reservation categories including General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, Sikh Minority, PwBD, Kashmiri Migrants, Single Girl Child, and Orphan (male and female).
Admissions for the 2025–26 academic year are being carried out on the basis of CUET UG 2025 scores, with classes for the first year commencing on August 1, 2025. Students are advised to check the DU CSAS portal from time to time for the latest information.
