Delhi University (DU) has announced a special provision for students who could not take their semester examinations in May 2025 due to disruptions caused by Operation Sindoor. The facility is available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students of the 2024–25 batch.

As per an official announcement made on Tuesday, students who were affected by the exams can now apply to reappear for their rescheduled exams through a Google Form, open until 11:59 PM, July 10, 2025 (Thursday).

Controller of Examinations, Professor Gurpreet Singh Tuteja, confirmed the move, saying that it's to assist students whose studies were disrupted due to reasons beyond their control, according to news agency PTI.

Students need to submit documentary evidence that they couldn't reach Delhi on the dates set for the exams, May 13, 14, and 15.

The special examinations will be carried out only for verified candidates, and specific dates to be revealed by the Examination Branch soon. This move is likely to provide relief to many students affected by the circumstances, enabling them to pursue their studies without any penalty.
