Delhi Summer Vacation 2025: The Directorate of Education (DoE), Delhi, has issued the academic calendar for the 2025-26 session, which details important dates for holidays, exams, and results for government and government-aided schools in the national capital. The new academic session started on April 1, 2025. The academic calendar aims to facilitate academic planning and give clarity to students, teachers, and school authorities.
According to the calendar, Delhi schools will begin the summer break on May 11 and conclude on June 30, 2025. Still, schools will reopen on June 28 and 30 for the teachers to arrange pre-opening activities. The autumn holiday is planned from 29 September to 1 October 2025, whereas the winter holiday will be from 1 to 15 January 2026. Along with these holidays, there are also 18 gazetted holidays when schools will be closed. Candidates and parents are advised to check the official notification for more details
